CTL Engineering is celebrating our first year in Virginia since acquiring the geotechnical, inspection, and testing division of Burgess & Niple, Inc. We’re so proud to offer over nine decades of service to the DMV (DC, Maryland, and Virginia) area, as well as the eastern panhandle of West Virginia.

Michael Sun, P.E.
Michael received his BS, Civil Engineering, and MS, Geotechnical Engineering from Syracuse University.
He is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) – Geo-Institute/ M.ASCE, ASCE National Capital Section, Geotechnical Executive Committee and Board of Directors 2003-2015, to name a few.

Tatjana Berg, E.I.T
Tatjana received her BS, Civil Engineering at University of Zagreb.
She has several certifications with VDOT (Asphalt, Concrete, and Soils), WACEL (Soils level 1, Concrete levels 1 & 2, Foundations, and Nuclear Gauge) and OSHA (Confined Space Entry). Tatjana is also an RSO – Radiation Safety Officer.
