GOOD THINGS FROM CTL! ACCOLADES AND WOW POINTS FOR SUMMER 2026

Accolades: We do some pretty good things!  We like to recognize our employee-owners.  Check out all of our accolades and wow points!

WOW Points: Department and Branch Managers give WOW points to employees they feel deserve extra recognition. These employees go above and beyond their call of duty to provide excellent service to their clients and coworkers. Congratulations to the following WOW Point recipients:

Ben Vogel and Taylor Dixon for their creativity and great problem-solving to complete the drilling and pavement coring on time and safely in spite of unfavorable weather. Nicely done Ben and Taylor!

Anthony Butzer for stepping up when a contractor asked to double the amount of testing needed during a large slab pour. Thanks for doing such a great job under pressure!

Eric Hannon for receiving positive client feedback. “Eric has done a great job staying on top of multiple activities throughout the project, coordinating with the contractor on a regular basis, and helping make our testing and inspection services run smoothly for the project.” Thank you Eric for exhibiting the employee ownership attitude in your daily activities.

Anthony Butzer and Amrit Dhungana for stepping up and performing work on a Saturday, even submitting their detailed reports by Sunday night. Our client appreciated the quick turnaround and was able to meet their deadline. Thanks Anthony and Amrit for taking time out of your weekend to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the client!

Melissa Silvers,  Adam Storey, Abel Pierce, Mary Caskey, Jason Fry, Many Weldemedhem, Gaurav Verma, Zoey Dodson, Glenn Reynolds, Chloe Veit, Doug Sberna, and Mary Hughes for a great AASHTO Assessment in their labs. Great job in keeping a high quality standard in lab testing.

Isaiah Golden and Chris Lancaster for receiving positive client feedback praising both for their responsiveness and attentiveness. Great work and thank you both for providing quality work to our clients and project stakeholders.

Steven Schreiner, EIT and Mark Hickey for their hard work covering bridge rehab work. Way to go Steven and Mark!

Clint Newton for receiving “rave” reviews from a client, and helping the Contractor by using his experience with rigging to help place MSE panels. Excellent work, Clint!

Santhosh Thalapureddy and Brijesh Kona for their teamwork as RPR’s. Keep up the good work!

Jacob Patrick for single handedly covering a 3-year school addition and the full range of materials testing. Great work, Jacob!

Johnathon Regester for all his due diligence handling work on the east side of Kentucky. Way to step up, Jonathan!

David Crouse for working hard to learn the soils lab and has helped with both concrete and soils lab audits.  He has also cleaned up our labs, so they run more efficiently. Thanks for all you do, David!

Trish Greene for keeping the show in Kentucky running; none of this would be possible without you. Thank you, Trish, for everything you do for CTL as an admin!

Matt Slusser, P.E., Rob Folsom, P.E., and Greg Meredith, EIT for funneling CMT work to SHE 02 after winning and crushing the geotechnical portion of multiple projects. Great teamwork everyone!

Ryan Cross and Dave Rowland for their guidance and expertise while helping fellow CTL members. Thank you for your leadership!

Steve Chastain for his excellent CTL representation at multiple business development lunches. Thanks for all that you do, Steve!

CTL’s Billing Team for all the work they do that helps us bill clients correctly, so we ultimately get paid. Thank you all for staying on top of things!

Caroline Ornowski for the outstanding job she has done managing the largest project we have in West Virginia within Construction Services. The client consistently compliments Caroline’s performance and remark on how well the project is being managed. Her professionalism, organization, and attention to detail have not gone unnoticed and reflect extremely well on both her and CTL. Thank you Caroline!
