A Letter From CK Satyapriya: Fall 2023

A letter from our President CK Satyapriya for Fall 2023.  Each quarter the President & CEO of CTL Engineering addresses our clients and employee-owners.

Dear valued clients of CTL Engineering:

As the crisp autumn leaves fall and the days grow shorter, we find ourselves on the cusp of a new season, ready to share the latest developments and insights from CTL Engineering. This quarter has been marked by significant achievements, both for our firm and for myself, but before we delve into the details, let us remember the virtue of humility, which often guides our path to success.

Short Recap of the Fun Czar’s Farewell Tour

Our Fun Czars organized a Farewell tour prior to my impending retirement to celebrate the ESOP Company of the Year by the National ESOP Association. We visited all our branches during September to recognize the efforts of our fellow associates. The Fun Czars also organized games at each office to educate employees on the benefits of ESOP. I want to thank the Fun Czars Jessica Donley and Dawn Pressler for their dedication to ESOP education and the employees of CTL Engineering for their participation.

Promotions and Appointments

We are delighted to announce promotions within CTL Engineering. Several Accounting and HR positions have been filled by exceptional individuals who have consistently demonstrated their dedication to our company’s growth. Additionally, I am thrilled to share Wayne Karem’s promotion to Principal of the Geotechnical Engineering and Drilling services.  Wayne’s unwavering commitment and expertise have played a significant role in our ongoing success, and his new role is well-deserved.

I am also happy to announce the incoming Chief Growth Officer, Mr. Joe Warino. Joe brings a wealth of experience from his previous employment at the Ohio Department of Transportation, City of Columbus and Prime Engineering. He will focus on growth while bringing new ideas for operational and financial performance.

A Humble Thank You

In closing, I express my heartfelt gratitude for being honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Asian American Commerce Group. This recognition humbles me, and I accept it on behalf of our entire CTL Engineering team. It reminds us of the importance of remaining humble in the words of C.S. Lewis: “True humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is thinking of yourself less.”

As we move into the fall season, we remain committed to providing top-tier engineering and consulting services. Your trust in CTL Engineering fuels our drive for excellence. We look forward to the continued privilege of serving you and creating a brighter future together.
