A Letter From CK Satyapriya: Summer 2024

A letter from our President CK Satyapriya for Summer 2024.  Each quarter the President & CEO of CTL Engineering addresses our clients and employee-owners.

Dear valued clients of CTL Engineering:

I begin this letter after visiting Yellowstone National Park, the first National Park in the world, and Grand Teton National Park, accompanied by six of my seven grandchildren and two sons. I am in awe of the natural beauty and vastness of these parks and the variety of fauna and flora. No matter your personhood, the landscape would captivate anyone. I could write pages about my experiences, but that is not my intent. One thing is for sure: the expanse and enormity of these spaces humbled me and made me realize that we humans are an infinitesimal part of this earth, let alone the galaxies within our universe.

I am thrilled to share that CTL has achieved its second major milestone since December 2023. On April 1, 2024, we successfully acquired the Mid-Atlantic division of EL Robinson, a significant move that has expanded our team by 41 new employee-owners and established offices in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. This strategic acquisition has bolstered our presence in the transportation, water and wastewater, and land development markets.   It follows our first successful acquisition of Allied Environmental Services on December 1, 2023, which has further enriched the environmental services that CTL offers.

The addition of these entities expands the CTL footprint to seven states, with the ability and willingness to provide services across the country. With these new capabilities, you, our clients, can depend on us to complete your projects from inception to completion. Our focus on our three fundamental tenets of non-violation of ethics, quality of service and responsiveness through the ownership culture of our employees will not waiver.

We look forward to continuing, nay furthering, our relationship.

C.K. Satyapriya, P.E., D. GE, F. ASCE
