A Letter From Hassan Zahran: Spring 2026
Dear Valued Clients of CTL Engineering and Employee-Owners
As we turn the page from a long, harsh winter into the fresh start of the spring quarter, I’m reminded how much our work mirrors the seasons. The snow and cold are giving way to longer days, warmer weather, and the sight of trees blooming all around us. It’s a fitting backdrop for the growth and renewal we are experiencing as a company. As we welcome spring and all the growth it represents, I’m excited about where we are headed together.
As construction activities ramp up, safety is and will remain our top priority. With spring comes a surge in construction activity, and many of our field staff will be spending more time on active job sites. As our projects and responsibilities grow, so does our obligation to protect every member of our team and everyone around our work. I ask all of our field personnel, project managers, and partners to follow all safety protocols without exception and take the time to plan work carefully, especially on complex or high-risk sites.
Introducing our new Service Line, CTL Infrastructure, WV. In line with our strategy to continue diversifying and strengthening our business, we are launching this service line focused on emergency slip repair sites and related infrastructure repair services. This is an important step in expanding the value we bring to our communities and clients, and in positioning our ESOP company for long-term, sustainable growth. I’m pleased to share that Jimmy Wriston will serve as the Lead Principal managing this new service line. Jimmy brings deep technical experience, strong client relationships, and a steady leadership style, making him the right person to guide CTL Infrastructure from day one. Please join me in supporting him as he builds and grows this important part of our business.
Looking Ahead. We are also approaching a truly remarkable milestone. In 2027, our company will celebrate its 100-year anniversary. Reaching a century in business is not just a number; it’s a testament to the integrity, resilience, and dedication of generations of employees, leaders, and clients who believed in our mission and our work. As an ESOP company, this milestone is especially meaningful. The legacy we are celebrating is one that each of you, as employee-owners and partners, continues to shape every day.
To our employees, thank you for your hard work, ownership mindset, and commitment to excellence. To our clients, thank you for your trust, collaboration, and continued confidence in our team.
Best regards,
Hassan Zahran
