Akron Grand Opening Party Success!

On September 28th, CTL Engineering hosted a very successful opening of our new branch office in Akron, Ohio. Sam DeShazior, Deputy Mayor for Economic Development for Akron, represented the Mayor’s office and did the honors of cutting the red ribbon. Sam also said a few words and did a wonderful job in welcoming us to the City of Akron. He signed the red ribbon as a memento and we also had several in attendance sign the ribbon as well. CTL is a member of the Greater Akron Chamber and they had several representatives attending the event and also made us feel very welcome. They have been a huge asset to us and are a great resource within the area.

A Perfect Day

It was a gorgeous fall day and the weather was perfect, we had the event take place in the office as well as the lower parking lot. The party was buzzing with a great band, Martini Five-0, who kept spirits high and played their unique blend of jazzy surf rock. In between sets, Chad Hankins flew one of our unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) which was one of the highlights of the evening.  Attendees were all very attentive and in awe of the device, it was a conversation starter. Chad had a small table displaying several of our UAVs which garnered a lot of interest. We invited all of the tenants from the building and several made it out to toast our new office.

Akron, A Pioneering City

We recognize the history of the pioneering City of Akron.  “CTL is celebrating our 90th anniversary and we are proud to have been a part of the continuing growth of the Great State of Ohio, with multiple offices within the state. We recognize and appreciate the history of the pioneering City of Akron. We are enthusiastically joining the burgeoning resurgence of the Akron area and its surrounding communities,” said CK Satyapriya, President & CEO of CTL Engineering.
