Ken Sympson Joins CTL Engineering

CTL Engineering, Inc. is excited to announce the addition of Ken Sympson to its team.

As a Business Development Representative in CTL’s Akron, OH office, Ken will be instrumental in providing expertise and experience to build upon the professional and personal relationships established with local communities and elected officials. He brings a unique planning/project administration perspective to CTL and will help expand our client base in Northeast Ohio.

Ken has over 31 years of planning and engineering experience in the transportation industry. Before coming to CTL, Ken was the Director of Transportation and Infrastructure for the Eastgate Regional Council of Governments, the Metropolitan Transportation Planning Organization (MPO) for the Youngstown/Warren area. He was responsible for all aspects of transportation planning, from planning to project selection and funding. He possesses a broad range of technical and leadership skills and uses conscientious judgment and logic to determine practical solutions to challenging problems. He successfully obtained and managed ODOT and USDOT transportation planning grants ranging from $100K to $25M.

Ken earned his BSAS in Engineering from the Youngstown State University.
