Who Ya Gonna Call?? Roshan Balakrishnan! CTL’s 2021 Employee of the Year
HISTORY
Roshan Balakrishnan began his career at CTL Engineering in January 2007 as a Computer Support Technician. He was promoted to Network Administration shortly after in 2008. His responsibilities include server maintenance, new equipment purchasing and setup, and what CTL employees know him best for….support for computer questions and issues.
EVERYONE’S “GO TO” GUY
Besides being a dedicated employee, in 2020 and 2021, Roshan went out of his comfort zone to support employees remotely to ensure that no one had any IT issues with either their devices or accessing the network or programs.
Here’s what CTL’s CIO, Chiranjiv Zutshi said about Roshan. “His commitment to solving the issues patiently to the employees’ satisfaction is commendable and shows how much he has grown along with the organization. He is the “go to” person and loved by all as he never says “no” to anyone, sometimes even helping solve issues outside of his scope.”
ALWAYS UP FOR A CHALLENGE
It’s the people that Roshan has enjoyed the most. He enjoys the challenges everyone brings with their questions and issues. “Every day is different with someone else to help and a different problem to tackle,” Roshan reflects.
In his downtime, Roshan likes to ride his bike around town, find the best ramen restaurants, and watch anything Star Wars.
